Marks Baughan Advises Kleinschmidt, an Industry-Leading Provider of Data Integration and Compliance Solutions, on its Acquisition of Faxinating Solutions to Advance Automated Transaction Processing

Kleinschmidt, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Faxinating Solutions, Inc. (FSI), a company whose services include conversion of critical supply chain documents into digitized messages that automate processes with trading partners that use EDI, API or other data format integrations with trading partners.

“This brings increased value to customers who rely on our digital transformation and integration services to keep their business running,” stated Dan Heinen, CEO of Kleinschmidt. “It’s still common for supply chain participants to rely on manual data entry for documents received from trading partners who are not EDI compliant. Adding this capability to our services will save them time and bring the workflow into their existing automation processes.

As we got to know FSI, the synergies were clear—both companies have proven a dedication to excellence over decades of service, providing integration solutions that clients trust for these critical supply chain transactions.”

Steve Hatajlo, CEO of FSI, agrees, “Like Kleinschmidt, FSI has put the customer first for over 30 years, providing customers across North America, Europe and Asia with advanced electronic commerce and transaction solutions. Our combined abilities will quickly provide complete end-to-end automated E-Commerce solutions leaving no partner behind.

FSI’s Document Conversion Services is a technology bridge that allows each partner to exchange data in whatever format they can work with. We have demonstrated extremely high standards of excellence for the services that we provide and have found that Kleinschmidt shared that same approach.”

Another shared capability between the two companies is the proven ability to develop bespoke strategies to optimize transaction processing efficiency and accuracy. These custom solutions have proven to be scalable and adaptable, remaining aligned with evolving needs and challenges. By coming together, the capacity to work on such projects has doubled.

Kleinschmidt will immediately begin offering FSI services as an extension of their existing EDI, API and other integration network infrastructure. Kleinschmidt was advised and supported by Ashwini Gautam and the team from Marks Baughan.
